Over the past few years , Olamide, has move from Fast rising star in Nigeria music industry to be one of the top A-Lists music star in the country.
In the month of March, Urban music video station MTV Base African celebrated Olamide, has their artistes of the month. During his stay with MTV Base crew, Olamide, revealed to them his intention of going back to school in near future.
Olamide, is 300 level student of Mass Communication at Tai Solarin University, before dropping out of the school to pursue his musical career.
Speaking with MTV base correspondent Olamide, says in which i will quote now —
I found out I was gifted in it so I had to explore it; it’s my life, my hustle, my world’, he told our correspondent when we asked why he abandoned his education.
But he’s going back soon: ‘I will be doing a professional course in South Africa to study Music Business and I’m certain about it. Hopefully in 2015.’
