Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Not Too Young to Run bill into law today. The #NotTooYoungToRun (the term used on social media), will see the reduction of the minimum age to run for President from 40 to 35 years, State and Federal representatives from 30 to 25 years and 30 years for Governors and Senators.
Here’s what President Buhari has to say about him g the Not Too Young To Run bill, “If you really want to change something in Nigeria, and if you can organize yourselves and work hard towards it – you can achieve it. The outcome of such efforts is this remarkable feat.”
“Surprisingly, the age limits for Senators & Governors was not reduced, as originally proposed by the sponsors of this Bill. This is an issue that may need to be addressed going forward.”#NotTooYoungToRun.

What does this bill mean to Nigerian youths? The new bill now means that Nigerian youth should stop complaining or rant on social media, but rather partisan politics.
