The 10th edition of Nigeria biggest and most prestigious annual music-award The Headies, has announced postponement for the 2015 edition.
The 2015 Headies Award, was initially schedule to hold on Wednesday, 30th, December, 2015, but has now moved two days. This means that the show will now hold on new year day Friday, January 1st, 2016.
The organizer of the award ” Smooth Promotion ” announced the postponement of the event about few hours ago. The Headies is biggest and most prestigious coveted awards in the Nigerian music industry.
However, no reason was stated for the rescheduling of the award ceremony, but it an avenue to create a memorable event according to representatives of the organizer :
The postponement adds another opportunity for the organizers to deliver an event many expect to be truly remarkable.”
The new date for Headies Award 2015, now clashed with veteran comedian Ali Baba, January, 1st concert. The Headies Award 2015, will be hosted by award-wining dancer Kaffy, alongside with ace comedy Bovi,with music performances from 2Face, Vector, Falz, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, Olamide, Simi, Victoria Kimani, Eva Alordiah and more.
