The biggest and most prestigious black origin music award MOBO 2014.
The organiser of MOBO Awards 2014, has announced the nominees lists of this year edition of the awards and Nigerian acts such as Davido, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid and Yemi Alade were all nominated for ”Best African Act ” category.
Ever since the introduction of this award Nigerians acts such 2face, D’banj, Nneka, Wizkid and 9ice has won the award in that category. 2face Idibia, won the award in 2007, 9ice in 2008, Nneka in 2009, Wizkid in 2011, D’banj in 2012.
The award ceremony will held at The SSE Arena in Wembley, London, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 and will be hosted by Sarah-Jane Crawford.
