About few weeks ago, Nigeria pop star and Marvin Records act Sidney Esiri, know as Dr.Sid, had his white wedding with his engaged wife Simi Osomo in Lagos.
However there was a reported published NET, that Dr. Sid & Simi Osomo’s Creme de Creme white wedding will cost around #25M. The report which was published on NET, explain the cost of what they used for the wedding ceremony from wedding planner, wedding ring and many that during the event.
Here is the reports in details — Wedding planner cost the couple – N6 Million. The Brides’s wedding gown was 500k (she wore three couture gown), Grooms bespoke Tom Ford suit cost N650k, other clothing items of the couple were N600k, Food and refreshment was N5m, Event venue – Oriental Hotel cost N2m, Decorations & flowers from Newton & David cost – N2m, The MC cost N1m, Security was N500k, The Cake which was inspired by Simi’s parents wedding cake was N2m, The DJ (Cuppy Otedola) cost them N2 Million, Wedding rings – Melange white gold wedding band from Frost jewelry London was cost N2. 2 Million and her engagement ring was N1.3 Million.
This cost does not include fireworks – the couple had a fireworks display after their reception and it does not include their traditional wedding costs (venue, clothes, food, entertainment etc)…I think they spent more than N25 Million.
However Dr.Sid himself, took to twitter to laugh up the report published by NET, that his white wedding could cost around #25M. He took to twitter to react to news of the N25 Million spend.
