International Nigeria music superstar Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly know as D’banj, is arguably one of the biggest music export from Africa soil to the world.
Ever since he releases his debut single ” No Long Thing ” back in March 2005, to his breakthrough chart topping smashing single ” Oliver Twist ” , the self acclaimed Koko Master & Banga Lee has become a reckon force in Africa entertainment and indeed world.
The 35-year-old entertainer, record label boss and entrepreneur singer recently celebrate his 10 years anniversary in music industry with seven-video compilation which features artistes such as Akon, Ice Prince, Reminisce, Cassper Nyovest and untold surprise.
One of his recent released video cause stir among his kokolets, which have a surprise appearance of Ghanaian born British’s Hollywood movie star Idris Elba, who spoke pidgin in that track.
However, in his recent interview with soft selling magazine Ebony Magazine, music star D’banj open more light on his relationship contract with Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D Music and Idris Elba speaking pidgin English in his ” Confidential ” track.
“that’s the beauty of the movement. It’s an African movement. I didn’t have to teach him. Idris Elba is African. He understands pidgin very well.”
When further asked about if he still have a contrast with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music, D’banj said,
“My deal was always with Def Jam Universal. It was a t venture with GOOD Music, but it was interfering with some things I needed to do. The relationship is still there. You may see Kanye and Big Sean on the new album.” He concluded.
