The ancient city of Ibadan, is planning to regain it lost glory as entertainment hub city of Nigeria, as the maiden edition of Ibadan Countdown Festival 2016 set to serenade the people of the city into new year.
The Ibadan Countdown Festival 2016 is an eight days event, which will started on December 24th-31st, 2016 at Agodi Gardens, Ibadan.
Legendary Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or 2Baba has been announced to headline the maiden edition of Ibadan Countdown Festival 2016 alongside with 100 acts who will performed across the eight days.
One of the organiser of the event Alfred Emeka, have something to say about the decision of choosing 2Baba as the headliner of the Ibadan Countdown Festival 2016:
We are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Ibadan will be as lively as ever this year. 2Baba is just a tip of the eye-bog among the others who will be unveiled next week”
2Baba will be performing live on the 24th of December with a live band, while the eight days event have theme days such as family day, food day, business and networking day, Tourism day, cultural day, youth and sports day and the countdown/firework finale, which another A-list act will headline.
