It seems that politicians and the elite classes are benefiting from the devaluation of Naira against the dollar currency. Over the past few months, Nigeria currently Naira continues to bow down against the U.S. dollar and other major foreign currencies.
The official twitter handle of Nigeria opposition party Peoples Democratic Party, PDP claims that First Lady Aisha Buhari, Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity to President Buhari, Garba Shehu, General Danbazzau and Abba Kyari all bought Forex dollar at N185 under the directive of CBN governor and later sold it above N350 that same day.

FLASH: Garba Shehu got $800,000 forex at N185 from CBN on the instructions of Emefiele, CBN governor and sold at N350 on the same day.

Abba Kyari also got $400,000 at N185 and sold for N340.

However, Garba Shehu has responded back to the claims by PDP official twitter handle that he made Forex purchase of $800,000 from CBN.
He further says that he has launch a defamation suit against the person behind the PDP twitter handle if he finds out who they are.
