The issue of corruption has been major goal and objective of this stration. About few weeks ago, a report surface online from the presidency camp that the nation treasury is almost empty.
However, during electroneering campaign of president Bihari, he made Nigerians to understand that corruption and eradication of Book Haram activites will be his major goal.
According to report coming from the presidency camp reported that present stration will not probe the far past stration, but will only probe the immediate past stration of former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. The stration of IBB, Abacha, Obasanjo and Yar’adua will not be probe.
The special assistant to president Buhari, on new media matter Mr Femi Adeshina, speaking to newsmen says that President Buhari had stated during his campaign that his probe will only be limited to the immediate past istration.
“If you recall, that was already settled before he got inaugurated as president. He has said he will not waste time digging into the far past. The far past will includes Obasanjo and others. But the president has said he will not waste time to go that far.”he said
Former President Jonathan had stated before leaving office that any probe focused on his istration will only amount to witch-hunting.
