It’s so sad to announced the death of Sammie Okposo. According to information through multiple close sources, reported that veteran Nigerian Gospel minister Sammie Okposo is dead at age 51.
The Welu Welu was reportedly to have collapsed sometimes last week upon his return from his praise party concert in the UK, and was treated for exhaustion.
Sources close to the late minister described his death as shocking & devastating tragedy. The late gospel singer was billed to perform alongside other gospel singers, Eben, Chuks Praise, Joy Favour, and Victor Edit at the Outpouring Assembly International in Calabar between Friday, November 25 to 27.
His family was to later issue a statement about his demise, saying the burial arrangement will be announced.
“It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that I announce the ing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and minister of God, Sammie Okposo,” the family added.
“Sammie slept and went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, November 25, 2022. More details about the burial will be communicated soon. We are consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels. We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time.”
